On the road in South Asia

On the left, Sri Lankan dancers present a traditional performance at a Colombo wedding.  Sadly, many cities in Asia have severe environmental problems, even ones in developing countries.  Testimony to this is the view of Kathmandu choked in smog. However, despite environmental issues, cities such as Dacca shown next are bustling and lively.

On the left is a view of the harbor in Male, capital of the Maldives, a country made up of numerous small atolls scattered across the Indian Ocean. On the right, an action scene from a Management course sponsored by Nepal Television in Kathmandu.

A crowd of worshipers throng around the principal Buddha statue in a temple on the outskirts of Kathmandu.  In the center is another course photo, taken at a seminar in Islamabad, Pakistan.  At the right, another scene from another temple in Nepal, a country of many such religious sites.
